VAUDE All Year Moab – Review

I was particularly excited to test the All Year Moab Set from VAUDE. After all, I also like wearing VAUDE clothing in my private life, as I think the brand offers very good value for money and most of the garments are made from recycled and sustainable materials. There is something for every age in the VAUDE range. My aim was to try out some of VAUDE’s All Year Moab collection, consisting of a high-quality long-sleeved sweatshirt, long softshell trousers and the AM Moab Mid STX II MTB shoes, on my mountain bike. I am an all-weather mountain biker and was therefore delighted to be able to test this set extensively in the autumn weather. This also included rides in wind and rain. SUPTraction Outsole
SUPtraction is a Swiss company that develops technical soles and rubber compounds. The soles are tailored to Vaude‘s customer needs from concept to final product to achieve the best possible result.

V-Flow Stabilitätsindex 3
The V-Flow value shows you the strength of the shaft in combination with the midsole and outsole. V-Flow 3 are Enduro cycling shoes for demanding and technical single trails in blocked terrain and for any amount of wearing passages. In addition to protection and comfort, the shoes offer you perfect grip on “flat pedals” and good climbing properties.

ECO FINISH
VAUDE products bearing the Eco Finish been waterproofed in an environmentally-friendly way without fluorocarbons (PFC). PFCs are part of a group of chemical compounds which are used to waterproof the outer layer of many outdoor products. They have come under criticism for being non-biodegradable, bioaccumulative and toxic, and suspected of being harmful to health. VAUDE has made a clear commitment to completely renouncing PFCs.
