What doesn’t get hit can’t get broken – the flat, wedge-shaped design of the new XT rear derailleur prevents most stone chips and impacts on the trail. And if an impact does occur, the rear derailleur can slide off obstacles on the trail thanks to the smooth outer coating, preventing catastrophic damage. The automatic impact recovery function immediately returns the derailleur motor to its original position after an impact, while the wide joint structure, durable plate, skid plate design and solid derailleur pulleys ensure robustness and durability.
