Robust 2-piston disc brake for XC and marathon racers: DEORE BR-M6100 from Shimano

Molded from the same DNA as XTR, DEORE XT and SLX, the new M6100 series delivers Shimano’s proven 12-speed technologies at DEORE level.
The DEORE M6100 brakes come in either an XC-specific two piston caliper or the trail/enduro four piston variant, both with a redesigned brake lever resulting in a stiffer mount, for better feedback and more power. The brake levers are equipped with Shimano’s proven SERVO WAVE technology which results in quicker pad/rotor engagement, improved power and a shorter free stroke.
