Lake CX302-X – Road Bike Shoes

The CX302 utilizes Lake’s patented dual sole system. The inner sole is a semi-flexible carbon fiber platform that allows the foot some flexibility at the ball of the foot, where the foot tends to swell and hot spots or numbness typically occur. The insole is suspended over the outer, rigid carbon sole. This system makes it possible to use an extremely stiff carbon outsole without compromising comfort.

CX/TX Race Last
With a profile specifically designed for very high cadence and higher pressure, the Competition last has a more curved profile than the Sport last. Key differences include a wider toe box and heel lift, a narrower heel and a slightly wider ball of the foot to allow the foot to expand under high pedal pressure.
