Lightweight road cycling shoe with excellent features: the G.Sprint from Gaerne

The microfiber material is perforated to optimize breathability and improve ventilation to keep your feet cool and dry during the ride. Inside, the shoe is paired with mesh to provide lasting support for the foot and improve stability. The closure system, equipped with a micro-adjustable BOA L6, ensures a consistent and secure closure without pressure points.

The COMFORT FIT TONGUE has a high-tech padding layer for more comfort and breathability. The integrated, non-slip heel cap improves the stability and control of the foot and provides a better riding feel.

The GAERNE EPS CARBON POWER SOLE 8.0 is made of nylon enriched with carbon to increase stiffness. The thin profile enables efficient pedaling without energy loss, while the shape of the arch increases the stability of the foot. Strategically placed vents and internal channels provide excellent ventilation. Non-slip rubber inserts on the front and replaceable PU inserts on the back ensure safe walking. Thanks to the 9 mm increased cleat position and the integrated alignment scale, cyclists can easily readjust their preferred cleat positions. The sole is compatible with all clipless pedals and has a stiffness index of 8.

Technologies

BOA L6 Closure System
A micro-adjustable BOA L6 coil and a stainless steel wire. To close, simply turn the spool to tighten the wire. The wire guide distributes the tension evenly and the shoe adapts to the foot without creating uncomfortable pressure points.

EPS Carbon G.Power sole
This sole is made of carbon fiber-reinforced nylon to ensure excellent stiffness. Its low height reduces the distance between the foot and the pedal, enabling optimum performance and power transmission. Anti-slip rubber inserts provide stability and a secure fit.

Heel cup
An anatomically shaped heel cup made of non-deformable plastic provides a firm hold, is non-slip and stabilizes the tendons – for maximum power transmission. Reflective inserts on the back make you more visible even in poor lighting conditions. Air inlets improve temperature equalization.
