The upper is made of G.FRAME TEX, an innovative material developed by Gaerne. It ensures greater foot stability and reduces the weight of the shoe at the same time. Strategically placed laser perforations ensure excellent ventilation and keep your feet cool and dry throughout the ride. TPU reinforcements on the toe cap and sides protect against abrasion and increase durability.

The INFIT CLOSURE SYSTEM 1.0 offers zone-by-zone adjustment with an asymmetrical design controlled by two BOA® Li2 twist locks. It ensures greater stability when pedalling, a precise fit, optimized power transmission and minimal pressure points. The BOA® Li2 DIAL F platforms are characterized by a slim, flat design. The rubberized surface guarantees excellent grip and control. The Li2 twist lock is turned clockwise to tighten and in the opposite direction to loosen – for precise and effortless adjustments.

The FIT TONGUE 1.0 is seamlessly constructed with variable thickness and includes a high-tech padding layer for added comfort and breathability. The ANATOMICAL HEEL CUP 1.0 improves foot stability and control by reducing unwanted movement through an internal anti-slip treatment. This ensures optimal support and better power transmission. The anatomical insole is designed for maximum stability and comfort. It offers increased support in the heel and midfoot area. Strategically placed perforations match the ventilation openings in the sole and promote air circulation – for an ideal microclimate in the shoe. The innovative, quick-drying material prevents moisture build-up and keeps your feet fresh and dry even during intense rides.

The Gaerne EPS LIGHTWEIGHT CARBON FIBER MTB SOLE 10.0, developed in collaboration with Michelin®, has a carbon structure that guarantees excellent stiffness and lightness for powerful pedaling. The Michelin® rubber tread offers maximum abrasion resistance and is impressive even under extreme conditions. The tread design ensures exceptional grip and traction, while the spacing between the lugs enables effective self-cleaning and fast mud release. With a stiffness index of 10, this is the stiffest sole in Gaerne’s MTB range.

The GAERNE EPS LIGHTWEIGHT FULL CARBON SOLE 10.0 full carbon sole guarantees absolute lightness and stiffness. The ultra-thin carbon structure allows a minimum distance between foot and pedal, which ensures maximum power transmission without energy loss when pedaling. Two ventilation channels in the sole ensure optimum air circulation during use. Non-slip TPU inserts in the front and rear sole area offer safety when walking – the rear insert is replaceable. The sole is compatible with all CLIPLESS pedal systems. The stiffness index is 10.
