CLOSURE SYSTEM BOA L6
The patented “BOA L6®” closure system consists of twist locks with stainless steel cables that enable unparalleled fine adjustment. The combination of these elements allows the rider a perfect fixation of the foot with no pressure points. The absence of Velcro fasteners allows maximum air circulation in the forefoot.

AIR VENTILATION SYSTEM
All Gaerne shoes offer excellent breathability and a perfect climate.

COMFORT FIT TONGUE
The tension-covering tongue is perforated to improve air exchange. It is also padded with a soft lining to provide the foot with unique comfort.

TRANSPIRANT INNER-SOLE
The inner sole is anatomically shaped for optimum comfort. Micro-pöros for good ventilation. Replaceable.

HEEL CUP
Improved anatomically shaped heel cup made of non-deformable plastic. The heel cup provides a firm hold, is non-slip and stabilizes the tendons. Reflective inserts on the back ensure better visibility in low light conditions. Air inlets improve temperature equalization.

EPS CARBON POWER MTB SOLE
Gaerne technology, combined with the know-how of Michelin designers and technicians, has produced the new EPS Carbon Power MTB Sole, which offers optimum power transmission when pedaling and sufficient flexibility when walking. Its structure is made of nylon reinforced with carbon fiber. The Michelin rubber tread combines a blend of performance and abrasion resistance – even in extreme conditions – with a design profile that provides excellent grip and traction. The wide spacing between the treads allows for better self-cleaning and instant mud release. For those riders who need even more grip, two holes in the toe cap allow the attachment of bolt-on and replaceable studs.
