The Ergolace design of the shoes hugs the foot and rounds off the fit with an ergonomic lace-up closure. Their upper material also offers protection from the elements with its durable, woven ripstop fabric and is correspondingly tear-resistant, while the PU-laminated toe cap and side reinforcements offer additional protection and greater durability. During development, conscious attention was paid to reducing weight and eliminating excess material that would otherwise lead to the bulky look and loose fit of many mountain bike shoes. The result is a shoe that can also be seen off the saddle – for example, when you’ve finished your backcountry mission.

The Terra Ergolace X2 eBike outsole significantly increases the versatility of this all-mountain shoe. It was developed for the optimum balance between efficient pedaling and flexibility. For more comfort and control on and off the bike – and secure grip on carrying sections. In addition, the compressed EVA midsole offers stability and cushioning, while the Vibram rubber tread promises grip and traction – no matter what terrain you’re riding on.

To guarantee a secure grip, the directional lug pattern has been designed with the right spacing and depth to bite firmly into soft ground. It is made from a unique rubber compound and also provides grip when hiking on slippery rocks. For riding with flat pedals, the shoe is also equipped with a low, tapered profile in the midfoot area, which creates a direct, optimal connection with the pedal pins.
