Liteshield Flex
Unrivaled protection and comfort – that’s LITESHIELD FLEX, the new protector technology developed in-house by EVOC. As the centerpiece of numerous new EVOC PROTECTION WEAR products, LITESHIELD FLEX – nomen est omen – offers maximum flexibility and is therefore the epitome of unprecedented comfort when biking or doing winter sports. It stands for outstanding impact protection, is light and airy and adapts perfectly to the body with every movement and every temperature. To achieve this, EVOC has combined its specially developed, highly flexible thermoplastic elastomer compound (TPE) with a sophisticated geometry of plus and circular elements, also developed in-house. This homogeneous grid not only ensures low weight, but also optimum air circulation, which prevents heat build-up on the body and perfects comfort. The result is also an ergo-dynamic flex, thanks to which the respective protector fits like a second skin and follows every movement smoothly in action.
At the same time, the LITESHIELD FLEX technology offers outstanding protection. It absorbs up to 95% of the impact energy in the event of a fall or blow and is therefore certified in accordance with CE standard EN 1621-2, Level 1 for personal protective equipment. This powerful cushioning and high protective function can prevent injuries during sport. Another highlight is the temperature resistance of the TPE compound. The LITESHIELD FLEX protector technology offers consistently high impact protection and flexibility in the temperature range from -20 to +40° Celsius, making it ideal for both winter and summer sports.But high flexibility, perfect protection, low weight and excellent wearer comfort are not all: unlike the two-component foams often used in protectors, the TPE material used in LITESHIELD FLEX can be melted down and completely recycled. This conserves resources and reduces the ecological footprint.
