Ergonomics rethought for women
The ergonomics specialists at Ergon have reworked the topic of women’s saddles from the ground up down to the last detail. Together with the world-class female racers of the CANYON//SRAM zondacrypto racing team and using X-ray and CT scans as well as the latest technology, we have created a new generation of ergonomic saddles. Countless prototypes have been produced and hundreds of hours of testing by professional and amateur riders have gone into the development of this saddle so that you can ride noticeably better.

A saddle for the female pelvis
Since women have a significantly more flexible pelvis than men and can tilt it far forward, a saddle for female riders must provide targeted relief so that no pressure is exerted on the sensitive genital area in the typical riding position on allroad and gravel bikes. The SR Allroad Pro Carbon Women prevents pressure and pain thanks to the relief opening at the front and the Y-shape of the saddle flanks, which reliably direct pressure onto the bony structures of the seat area.

Adapted to the female anatomy
For anatomical reasons, the pubic symphysis, i.e. the anterior cartilage connection between the two halves of the pelvis, is around a quarter lower in women than it is in men. The angle between the pubic bones is also greater in women. These anatomical requirements were taken into account when developing the SR Allroad Women in order to guarantee a natural fit and ergonomic relief.

Protection for the sensitive genital area
On saddles that are not specifically designed for the female anatomy, female riders often suffer from uncomfortable pressure and pain in the genital area. The SR Allroad Pro Carbon Women is specially designed to protect this sensitive area: The ideally placed relief opening effectively prevents discomfort such as numbness and pain by effectively transferring seat pressure to the sit bones.

The right size for every rider
The pelvic bones diverge forward in a Y-shape, so an ergonomic saddle must be able to support the sit bones securely in different sitting positions. If the saddle is too narrow or too wide for your sit bone distance, this can lead to discomfort. To prevent this, Ergon offers the SR Allroad Pro Carbon Women in two sizes so that you always sit safely and comfortably.
