Assos Ultraz Skin Layer P1 – Functional Baselayer

Thanks to merino wool and a highly elastic, highly insulating material blend, this layer offers the best insulation of all skin layers, while an updated collar construction, which can be used as a turtleneck, extends the functionality even further. Unlike pure wool, the ultra-soft textile is not irritating and, thanks to its high elasticity, it does not lose its shape when stretched. Instead, it follows your body’s movements and fits close to the skin with low bulk to trap heat and wick away moisture – both of which are crucial for comfort in the depths of winter.

The second skin fit means that the fabric fits close to the body, which optimizes the thermoregulating properties and push-pull moisture management, creating a warm, dry microclimate on the skin. The one-piece construction means there are no seams and no chafing.
