Maximum compression shorts for ultra-endurance: the EQUIPE RSR S11 bib shorts by ASSOS

Even more breathable, even more compressive, even more aerodynamic – the EQUIPE RSR S11 replaces the RSR SUPERLÉGER S9, making it the most advanced Racing Series short in ASSOS history. The new textile, which surrounds the large muscle groups of the legs, is our most compressive Kompressor textile to date. It provides stable support to reduce micro-vibration fatigue during hours of high-intensity riding. Less highly compressive Type.911 textile has been used on the seat and around the center of the body. This main textile of the RS S11 and R S11 bib shorts is used here to reduce pressure on sensitive areas. Thanks to the combination of compressive, ultra-elastic textiles, ASSOS was able to dispense with the rollBar system without compromising 360-degree stability. The open-edged waistband prevents restrictions.

Like the RS S11 insert, the new RSR S11 insert comfortably absorbs micro-impacts without being bulky. It also provides intensive cooling airflow and has additional shock-absorbing modules under the ischial tuberosities to ensure maximum effectiveness in aggressive riding positions.

• Type.911: a textile with a silky-soft, abrasion-resistant texture that provides stabilizing compression. The black is deeper than the previous model and does not lose its intensity even when stretched; it is also water-repellent and dries quickly to prevent weight gain due to residual moisture, has odorControl properties and protects with UPF 50+.
• AEDP flederMann: this pattern is an aerodynamic second-skin racingFit that was developed based on feedback from the WorldTour, where it has proven its worth. The adapted shape wraps the large muscles with compressive support with a longer, more aerodynamic leg.
• Endurance Compression: Muscle-enveloping support that reduces fatigue during high-intensity rides lasting several hours. The textile panels are arranged in such a way that maximum compression is achieved.
• ELECTRIFIED Grip: Integrated anti-slip yarns are woven directly into the KOMPRESSOR textile and ensure friction-free, continuous grip on the thigh.
• X-Frame: A-shaped straps limit the drop at the lower back and stabilize the seat insert and main panel during high-intensity rides.

  • Shock-Absorb Damping System Twin 13: A two-layer racing platform made of 9 mm foam, supplemented by 4 mm UltraDistance inserts under the ischial tuberosities. Thermoformed shaping prevents edges and irritation.
  • kraterCooler: Perforations on the front edge of the insert allow cooling air to flow through, maintaining breathability and a dry, cool microclimate.
  • whirlKrater: Perforations distributed over the entire insert, creating a cooling, swirling airflow instead of one-sided ventilation.
  • Mineral Tec Surface: A soft, ultra-smooth cover material that reduces friction and irritation while improving comfort through quick drying and permanent odorControl.
  • goldenGate 2.0: The insert is attached at the front and back, while the sides and center remain loose. So it moves with your body and not against it. New cut-outs on the sides reduce volume and friction when pedaling.
