A winter must-have: the Equipe R Habu S11 from ASSOS

The HABU R S11, the latest generation of the venerable HABU winter collection, features completely updated textiles that allow for a lighter, more breathable and, most importantly, more supple softshell construction. The new construction hugs the body closer, improving the aerodynamic second-skin fit while allowing the hydrophobic textile to better wick moisture away from the skin and maintain a dry, warm microclimate.

• The sleeves combine an outer layer of contouring, stormproof Winterfoam with a lining of soft, insulating RX textile in a breathable twinDeck construction
• An ultra-comfortable, ultra-soft Breatn textile lining increases comfort and actively wicks moisture away from the skin
• The AEPD 11 racingFit is an aerodynamic second-skin fit that was developed based on feedback from the WorldTour and offers the body all-round compression and stability
• AIRBLOCK-EVO.888: the material is wind and water resistant. The textile’s new membrane is also more breathable and elastic
• bodySleeve AEPD: a supple, highly elastic construction that hugs the contours of the body and improves aerodynamics and push-pull moisture management
• struzzo collar: A comfortable collar that provides lighter, soft insulation. Actively regulates the individual microclimate without having to open the zipper and exposing the neck to cold air
• ASSOSoires Pockets: Located on the front. Secure storage for shell gloves or heavier accessories.

Technologies

racingFit
Tighter and with slightly more compression than regularFit and comfortFit. Feels somewhat restricted when standing and walking, but fits like a second skin in the typical position on the bike. The result is better performance and increased comfort.

AEPD (Advanced Ergonomic Pattern Design)
ASSOS calls the know-how, experience and philosophy with which the fit of the products is developed and designed to harmonize perfectly with the riding position on the bike AEPD. ASSOS clothing is designed to adapt perfectly to the body on the bike and merge with it. High-tech materials are basically useless unless they are perfectly cut and finished.
