Q-LITE
For ALPINA, seeing contrasts clearly is an elementary characteristic of sports eyewear. That’s why we have developed the contrast-enhancing Q-Lite technology, which makes contrasts on the trail and on the road more visible, makes colors appear richer and ensures sharper vision. Eyes can stay focused for longer, are less stressed and perform better at crucial moments.

MIRROR
Mirror is a lens on which several layers of mirrors are applied. They protect against extreme glare and infrared light. Mirror is not only a feature of a highly functional lens, but also a style element.

FOGSTOP
Fogstop is a coating on the inside of the lenses. The coating is not smooth but rough – even “fissured” on a microscopic level. As a result, the droplets have no opportunity to form a closed layer, i.e. to fog up and thus obscure vision. This would only happen if the moisture managed to fill the fissures with water. Before this happens, however, the deposited moisture has long since condensed and the view remains clear.

ADAPTABLE NOSEPAD
Cold-adjustable, rubberized nose pads enable optimum adaptation to any nose width and shape. The rubber coating effectively prevents slipping and guarantees a secure fit.

OPTIMIZED AIRFLOW
A strongly curved lens in combination with indirect airflow ensures draught-free and fog-free vision even during fast-paced outdoor sports.
