Thanks to modern lighting technology with intuitive remote control, you are not only clearly more visible, but can also clearly communicate your intentions, such as turning or changing lanes. The lighting concept comprising rear light, front light and blinker noticeably increases your presence in traffic so that you can move around safely and relaxed. The lights are integrated into the multi-shell design of the HYP-E and emphasize its premium look and feel.

The HYP-E also meets the strict standards of the NTA standard 8776 – helmets with the NTA standard are tested at higher impact speeds, offer better protection in the area of the back of the head and temples and can absorb higher impact forces.

• Lower edge protection: Outer shell made of polycarbonate (PC) covers the lower edge of the helmet and protects against scratches, impacts and scuff marks
• Ventilation cover: cover to close the ventilation openings to protect against sun, wind and rain
• Integrated, rechargeable front and rear lights: fixed lights on the front and rear of the helmet for increased visibility in traffic
• Six different light modes (rear and front light): Steady, Power, Flow, Pulse, Flash or Eco selectable
• Front and rear indicator lights: Front and rear lights flash in the direction of the turn when the remote control for the flashing light is operated on the handlebars
• Remote control flashing light: wireless and USB-C rechargeable remote control for the handlebars to activate and control the flashing light is included in the scope of delivery
• IP44: protection class that certifies protection against solid foreign bodies larger than 1 mm and splash water for electronic products such as lights
• In-mold process and hard shell application: combination of both production processes, whereby parts of the outer shell consist of both a robust hard shell and a polycarbonate shell with foamed-in cushioning material
• Plait opening: thanks to the cut-out in the height-adjustable adjustment system, the helmet is also suitable for long hairstyles such as ponytails, buns or plaits
• Insect protection net: keeps flies and otherinsects away from the head without impairing the ventilation of the helmet
• Zoom™ Spin adjustment system: rotating wheel at the back of the head for individual adjustment of the helmet to the head circumference
• Flap Divider™: strap divider for individual adjustment of the straps below the ears – with clamp fastener to fix the set position
• Magnetic fastener: the straps are fitted with a high-quality, magnetic FIDLOCK fastener to enable one-handed opening of the chin fastener even when wearing gloves
• Comfort padding: soft padding inserts for optimum wearing comfort, attached to the helmet with Velcro
• Running time per mode in h (min.): depending on the weather conditions and type of use, the light can be used for at least 2 hours in continuous mode and at least 40 hours in flashing mode
• Duration of battery charging time light: the charging time until the battery is fully charged is approx. 4 hours
