Newmen Forge 30 Trail 29″ 6-Bolt SRAM XD Wheelset

For the trail wheelset, Newmen combines different versions of the impact-resistant Forge 30 rim, the tried-and-tested FADE MTB hub and high-quality Sapim Race spokes. The Newmen Forge 30 thus achieves an outstanding ratio of durability, weight and price for trail bikers and touring cyclists. Light up front, durable in the back: As with the Newmen MTB wheel series Phase and Beskar, the new Forge 30 family also uses the modular wheel concept for the front and rear wheel. The less stressed, lightweight front wheel saves weight, while the more robust rear wheel ensures stability and reliability on singletrack adventures. By using two different rim variants (light and base), Newmen can offer perfectly tailored MTB wheels for trail bikers.

The 30 millimeter wide, hooked Forge 30 rims are made of high-quality aluminium, have a sleeved joint and come with tubeless rim tape fitted.

The new Forge 30 rims are based on the same impact-resistant profiles as the top Beskar aluminum wheels. During the development of the new generation of rims, Newmen carried out impact tests and FEM analyses on over 30 different rim profile prototypes. In addition to the familiar angled design, Newmen has further optimized the rim flanges. This makes the impact-resistant 30-millimeter rims even more resistant to punctures. At the same time, the rim profiles are as flat as possible in order to generate a lot of grip and comfort in combination with modern MTB tires.
