• Grip SL – An incredibly light, short travel-specific damper with unparalleled ride feel in its class. Riders feel a supple stroke with optimized pedal-to-bump efficiency. A smooth blowoff force means less jolting when riding locked out. Learn more about the new GRIP family
• Rear arch matrix – The rear arch matrix was generatively designed to increase stiffness by 40% while minimizing weight. With 100mm of travel in the 32 Step-Cast, the rear arch has all the necessary clearance for XC frames.
• Kabolt SL axle – The svelte new Kabolt SL thru-axle drops an additional 12g over our standard Kabolt axle by eliminating the additional weight of the axle nut and decreasing the flange diameter.
• Redesigned crown – A new 7000 series aluminum, zero-offset crown supports angled upper tubes to achieve overall rake. Together with our ultra-light steerer tube, the crown saves approximately 20 grams over the previous model, as well as adding stiffness.

GRIP-SL
In the world of endurance racing, every gram counts. With the Grip SL, Fox has created a short travel-specific damper that not only reduced weight but could keep up with increasingly demanding World Cup XCO and XCM races. Lockout performance is paramount on the Grip SL; firm for hammering pedals during a sprint while maintaining a smooth blowoff force when you hit a bump with lockout engaged. This reduces fatigue and conserves rider energy. When the compression adjuster is in Middle or Open mode, riders experience a supple stroke in the early stages of the travel with an optimized pedal-to-bump efficiency

Kashima Coat finish
Buttery-smooth, Genuine Kashima Coat’s distinctive gold color is backed by its high performance attributes – properties that provide an exceptionally smooth feel and extreme durability. All Factory Series Forks – Now available on the entire Factory Series fork lineup. Buttery-smooth, Genuine Kashima Coat is available only from FOX – the Kashima Coat logo is individually pad-printed on each stanchion.

FLOAT air spring
The FLOAT air spring system developed for 32, 34 and 40 is lighter and reduces the force to initiate travel, providing excellent sensitivity and small bump compliance for all riders and pressure settings. Similar to our FLOAT rear shocks, the new FLOAT system features positive and negative air springs that automatically equalize during use to give each rider the right pressure balance. The progressiveness of the spring curve can be adjusted via air volume spacers, allowing riders to fine-tune the feel of the air spring.

EVOL
A more linear spring curve gives EVOL forks and shocks plushness off the top, extra mid-stroke support, and more tunable bottom-out progression, allowing riders to tap into the ideal pairing of front and rear-end feel. The EVOL technology from rear shocks is now integrated into all FOX forks. EVOL increases negative air spring volume, specifically positioned and sized for optimum small bump sensitivity.

Air Volume Spacers
The progressiveness of the FLOAT air spring curve can be adjusted via air volume spacers, allowing riders to fine-tune the feel of the air spring.
