IMPORTANT: The BKD-1.2 bleeding kit is only suitable for hydraulic bicycle brake systems with DOT fluid. DOT fluid and mineral oil must never be mixed in the brake system or in the corresponding maintenance tools. Cross-contamination of the brake fluid can cause the seals to fail, which can result in brake failure. For brake systems with mineral oil, please use the Park Tool BKM-1.2 Hydraulic Brake Bleeding Kit for Mineral Oil instead.
